SFET enables Dr Umar to utilize donor hair outside the confines of widely available traditional methods. Thus hair from the beard and body areas are also used. depends. Some peoples nape hair does thin out. some dont. Typically the more bald you are, greater chances your nape hair will thin out too.

Nape hair grows where the most severely bald generally will still have hair even as one ages; can be thinned by almost 2/3 without a problem–sides thinned about 1/2 the follicles in my personal experience. Plan for a lifetime of touch up–Judicious use of scalp hair is required.

However, Doc Umar has successfully used body hair (BHT)– chest beard arm leg back hair when reserve scalp hair is depleted or low.

For Dr. U, BHT results have been nothing short of spectacular.
