I am a high school senior and am taking Topamax for headaches and have lost about half of my hair. I used to have thick and wavy auburn hair and now I have very thin and limp straight hair because I have lost so much of it. Does anyone have any suggestions to help regrow my hair? I need my confidence back.
You can try Rogaine. I take Topomax and I have not had the problem with loss of hair though I did have a bout with pancreatitis so I cut my dose back. You might want to find a nice wig, though. Your hair may grow back really nice eventually and you want your senior pictures to look nice so get yourself a really good looking wig. I had a closed head injury in 1980 so I know what a drag it is to have to take medication for headaches and stuff like that. I hope things work out for you.
